Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or a private relay address) from Apple. We use this solely for authentication and to sync your data across devices.

Usage Data

We collect data about how you use the app, including:

  • Journal entries you create
  • Chat messages with the AI coach
  • Productivity tasks and completion status
  • XP earned and level progression
  • Daily streak and activity data

This data is stored securely in our database and is associated with your account to provide the app's features.

AI Chat Data

Messages you send to the AI coach are processed by OpenAI's API to generate responses. We do not use your messages to train AI models. OpenAI's data usage policy applies to the processing of these messages.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the app's features
  • Track your progress, XP, and streaks
  • Generate personalized AI coaching responses
  • Sync your data across devices when signed in

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Apple Sign-In for authentication
  • Supabase for data storage and authentication
  • OpenAI for AI chat functionality

Each service has its own privacy policy governing data it processes.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below or via our support page.

Children's Privacy

ZonedIn is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Opt out of data collection by using the app without an account
